ABOUT ME
ABOUT ME
I am a psychoanalytic psychotherapist, clinically qualified to work with adult individuals. I’ve worked for over a decade in public and private mental health services, and I’ve been in private practice in inner city Sydney since 2012. I have advanced training in the areas of complex trauma, dual diagnosis, personality disorders, anxiety and depression. I’ve also worked as an academic lecturer, teaching psychoanalytic theory.
In private practice, I’ve worked extensively with individuals from the LGBTQI community. I also work frequently with people navigating creative fields (writers, actors, producers, directors), as well as individuals from the health and the law professions. I receive weekly clinical supervision, and I’m engaged in ongoing professional development. Previously, I worked as an academic lecturer and tutor in psychoanalytic theory, creative writing and literature, at the University of Sydney, Macquarie University and Notre Dame University.
